Unfortunately with this one you couldn’t get the full quality with a picture. It had this horrible glossy shine to it. The corners were horribly tattered as well making me think it might have been in the shop for some time…. I wonder why….

This is way past due, but my first thought was Lacroix from Forever Night. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103417/
Yes, I am a fangirl nerd who loved both TNG and Forever Knight. Mmmmm, Geraint Wyn Davies…. mmmmmmm.

Haha wow. I have never seen Forever Night… if it’s as good as this cover I will have to check it out!
I do have a secret love for this one. It’s like a saturday night at a roleplaying weekend. *coughs* Not that I would actually know what that is like of course.

Mila, that was my first thought too! Q and LaCroix – that would make a heck of a crossover fanfic.

You mean it’s not just the ‘before and after’ image of the same guy?

Yeah, both pictures are actually Nigel. The book is part of a series he wrote about a vampire who was a knight during the reign of King Arthur. In fact, he was actually Lancelet. (Actually had to look that up, I had forgotten a lot about this series.)
And no, I’m not being one of those uber serious types who’s going to berate you like those whiners on the Pretender post. I agree that the cover is awful. I just wanted to point out that’s not Q.
Forever Knight was a pretty good show. A bit cheesy. It was one of those “I’m a whiney vampire who wants to be human again” shows. (The hero being Nick Knight.) Set in Canada. But I always preferred LaCroix to Nick. He, at least, did not whine.
