Hmm, putting on our thinking caps here. ‘Servant of the Dragon’ …. Servant …. Dragon… DRAGON.. of course! Lets have a huge scary, bird! It makes complete sense. We’ll have wizards, swords men and damsels fighting it. One word to descibe my idea, epic!

This is probably not that bad… though I could just be really tired.
‘Saga of Lord of the Isles’ – Seriously? You couldn’t think of a better title for your saga.

Maybe there was another book called Attack of the Giant Bird which was never published so they thought they might as well just reuse the cover. Alternativly there was a terrible mix-up and Attack of the Giant Bird has a cover showing someone serving a dragon.
Oh i bet they felt silly when they realised that mistake!

The dragon in the book is actually a pre-humanity reptile man wizard. And they do fight a giant bird, but not a dragon.

Fair enough, but if your book has ‘Dragon’ in the title and YOUR last name is Drake, I think it behooves you to fit a dragon on the cover somewhere. I mean, this cover already screams “GENERIC FANTASY!” Why not go all the way?
