Gaaaaaahhhhhh! Your purple robes offend all dragons!Click for full image

A princely boy sits on some ruined steps while a dragon leans downwards in a yawn of sorts. Standing next to them, a white bearded wizard in his long purple robes who is motioning to the sky with other dragons flying gracefully in the sky. No stereotypes here whatsoever … none … zip … nadda … zero… null … uhhh *coughs*

Do I dare admit. I do have a bit of a soft spot for the Weis & Hickman… having read the ole Dragonlance series as a teenager. But this cover is special! And for only 2 quid.. bargain!

I reckon the wizard is actually just about to feed that dragon a mouse or ferret or some sort of tasty snack.

Damnit Si, I was going to say that!

“The Stunning Conclusion to the Death Gate Cycle”.

As opposed to the marginally entertaining one?

  3. SI Says:

I would enjoy the author who would put on their cover, “The mediocre conclusion to….”

I’m well looking forward for the day someone wants to put a quote from here on their cover!

A purple robed wizard, with the traditional pointy hat… classic ensemble.
The dragons are surely a standard piece for any Weis & Hickman. And EVERYONE knows dragons love to be fed ferrets.

£2 quid for 200 pages? £2 will get you several thousand sheets of toilet paper at TESCO, and its slightly more absorbant that Weis & Hickman.
I’m only judging this against the 2 dragonlance novels i read more than 10 years ago to be fair.

“If you love great fantasy books, then you may or may not think this book isn’t not too bad at not being not a bad read!”

    Hello!

I like a cover that goes across the front and the back of a book, its like your getting two for the price of one. Even more room for ruined temples and dragon joy!

That prince has no trousers on by the way.

  6. SI Says:

Well I guess when you are a prince… you don’t need to wear trousers if you don’t want to.

Though it looks like it’s disturbing the dragon.
