A well heeled post-apocalyptic (yes, it’s an assumption from the cover) always has the proper shampoos and sprays in the wasteland for a truly magnificent almost mullet. Perhaps it should have been titled ‘Mullet Of The Abyss’

The title is VERY OBVIOUSLY The Chronicles of Scat; and both parties on the cover are very obviously engaged in scat singing.

I think Chewie is actually all four child, beggar, thief and prince in one.

And yeah, i always look at the background books. More often that not though, especially in the 2nd hand shops i’ve not heard of many of the books.

BTW the “that’s you, that is” format is from comedy sketches by Rob Newman and David Baddiel , video link , its probably a more obscure reference than i gave it credit for. But brilliant none the less
