  1. Ian Sales Says:

I suspect the line “a giant fetish monkey brandished his didgeridoo menacingly” must appear somewhere in the book, as that’s clearly what inspired the artist.

Mr. Snuffleupagus’ much edgier older brother.

  3. SI Says:

They seem to be comparing sticks. The large ewok wins.

  4. anon Says:

Looks like the artist really likes Ronia the Robber’s Daughter…
The giant creature reminds me of the creatures in that film.

  5. A.R.Yngve Says:

    [Creature bellows]: “GROG”

  6. Tom Noir Says:

Which of the people on the cover are ‘wizardborn’?

My money is on the armored unicorn.

  7. Herm Says:

If some human tried to make me wear that barding then, virgin or not, I’d impale him faster than he could say “my, I love what you’ve done with your beard”.

  8. Adam Roberts Says:

It’s a massive clarinet. Good Show Sir is having a Jazz-themed week.
