I’ve heard of jumping the shark, but hurdling the unicorn?

JOHN McCAIN GOES TO SAN FRANCISO
An epic saga of adventure and romance,
of strange sights and stranger creatures,
    in a magic world.

  4. A.R.Yngve Says:

Russian scientists believe that these creatures were born in Chernobyl.

  5. Phil Says:

I say, I say, I say. What do you get if you cross a pegasus with a unicorn?

  6. Tom Noir Says:

“He had a horn. She had wings. Theirs was a forbidden romance, but let no man say them neigh!”

You mean the unicorns and flying horses on the covers were not reassuring enough? Man, these readers are so neurotic!

Hm… I might still read it.

  9. Zycrow Says:

Given that the stranger worlds of GSS involve centaurs with smaller centaurs for arms, I would judge The Unicorn Quest’s so-called magic world about as strange as Cleveland.

I love the little dome at the top of the book with the lovely rock garden. The picture isn’t so bad but the boarders on this book put all other boarders to shame!

Magical creatures often meet to show off their powers. Here we see the unicorn displaying her Bonnie Tyler Bright Eyes moves :D

If a strange sight includes a stranger creature would that kick the sight up to the strangerer level of strangeness?

  12. A.R.Yngve Says:

So, uh, there’s a unicorn or two in this book then?

(You can NEVER know with SF/F books.)

  13. Dalton H. Says:

Pegasus or Unicorn? It’s so hard to choose one!

  14. Anti-Sceptic Says:

The Unicorn Quest? I guess Pegasus went on a quest to find a mate, but it looks like his tastes ventured into the exotic. I don’t think that the other Pegasi would approve.
