Quickly men, we can almost see up his robes! Zap him with your electric wood!Click for full image

Jami Comments: It’s like Sarek Of Vulcan has somehow been crossed with a stereotypical hero in a western version of a Japanese movie. Meanwhile bubble headed bobbies are threatening him with roman candles.

The shocking truth behind David Carradine’s untimely demise!

  2. Herm Says:

“Zen and martial arts in space!”

    Love that tagline.

Zero-G martial arts does actually sound like a promising topic…

  3. A.R.Yngve Says:

“Well, well, well! If it isn’t our old pal Harry Potter!”

“I can’t believe it! You’re those bullies from Slytherin! Why are you dressed up as coppers??”

“No tricks up the sleeve! When you had us thrown out of Hogwarts, we went looking for jobs — and Muggler society made us coppers instead of wizards. Coppers with magical nightsticks!”

    “Lemme go!”

“Sorry, Harry old pal! This is the New Britain under David Cameron, so in the name of law and order we’re going to beat you senseless!”

  4. Phil Says:

Storm troopers with jazz hands meet a disturbingly long-toed Quentin Crisp. In space.

  5. SI Says:

“You picked the wrong classical conductors class to zen into… samurai!”

  6. Tom Noir Says:

That control room must be pretty advanced! The panel in the left foreground appears to have a button ON TOP OF ANOTHER BUTTON!!!

Also, the way that tagline is arranged makes it look like a quote:

“The stunning climax to the KENSHO novels”
-Zen and Martial Arts in Space

I so want to live in a world where “Zen and Martial Arts in Space” is the name of a magazine.

  8. Jami Says:

I just wonder what the other covers in the series look like.

  9. fred Says:

But old levitating Sean Penn is holding a katana, so shouldn’t the title be ‘Katana’erer”? Or is it because he’s about to go all Mifune on those electro-wanded Paul Blarts?
And could someone let some air out of that W before it explodes?

  10. Anti-Sceptic Says:

The samurai looks rather relaxed. Look at how his left hand lazily sits atop his knee. Also, while the sticks nearest the warrior look like they’re shooting lightening, the one at the very bottom of the page looks like it’s shooting Lucky Charms!

  11. SteveAsat Says:

That foot. My god, THAT FOOT. I’ll be charitable and assume his legs are crossed underneath that exercise in drapery, but even so that foot is going to give me nightmares. It looks like it wants to strangle a Baggins.

  12. Eoin Says:

I see the distinct influence of many icons of the Transfiguration of Jesus.
