I look suspiciously like the wizard from two days ago...Click for full TOP-SHELF image

Claire’s Art Direction: Hum, riders on the wind.  Well obviously lots of wind in a pretty colour, and a rider – I know, a naked chick with body tats.  Throw in some standard fantasy stuff, like a castle and a wizard dude et voila!

Cover yourself, strumpet! You’re being watched! At least the horse isn’t naked.

  2. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

Isn’t that the fellow AND the castle from Riddle-Master of MedHed? Good to see they get plenty of work.

  3. A.R.Yngve Says:

Clint Eastwood IS Merlin in RIDERS OF THE WINDS

  4. A.R.Yngve Says:

Well at least it’s “exciting”. And “new”. That’s what the blurb copy says. And not much else.

  5. Tom Noir Says:

I’m not a lady, but surely that would be uncomfortable? To mount your horse while naked? No, that didn’t come out right. To ride naked. No no. To get up on it while -

You know what, screw this comment.

  6. Phil Says:

That castle is lacking in the asymmetric overhanging latrine turret department. And that pegasus is lacking in the wing department.

What? Oh, it’s an ordinary horse? OK, carry on.

  7. Alessandra Kelley Says:

Riding a horse naked? Ow ow ow owchity ow. Without even stirrups to take a little of the … Ow.

  8. Yoss Says:

As my old Wind Riding 101 professor used to say “To ride the wind, one must FEEL the wind.” So you see, the nudity has a practical purpose.

Place obligatory America “Horse With No Name” quip here – ” ”
Is that a small horse or is she 7 feet tall? Proportions seem wacky.

  10. Phil Says:

Normal sized horse, tiny head. Or maybe a Shetland pony. Or, since it’s difficult to be sure of scale and of the limits of a fantasy work, maybe it’s an eohippus!

  11. Andrew Says:

The late Mr. Sweet always seemed to have a bit of problems whenever horses and proportion were concerned. Sadly of late, I find I can tell his work long before I see the artist credits.

  12. SI Says:

I love the font so much. It’s like someone went, “there’s a gap in the letters… lets fill it in with … ummm white!”

  13. Jerk of all Trades Says:

Ugh, only masochists would ride dressed like that.

  14. Anti-Sceptic Says:

The wizard found a new use for his magical mirror when he decided to have a look around the realm just to see what was going on…

  15. Tom Noir Says:

That wizard definitely looks like he just smelt someone, er, ‘riding the wind’.
