Ugh. Certainly not the best font choice here. Also the “Eerie, Fascinating” could be better phrased. I assume the tales are by a foremost writer, but maybe that wouldn’t fit.
She is thinking “my cape slipped down, now how do I hitch it up?”

What is that thing resting it’s paws on? And if she can afford the jewelry and unicorn driven carriage, why not clothes?
