Time to hit the beach! At Sellafield.

[By the way, not that I’m some raging pervert or sumthin’, but the unsheeped image isn’t unsheeped!]

Time for a change of diapers!

  3. Adam Roberts Says:

“Time fon a ChanBe” — what, no font tag?

As for the cover art: marvellous stuff. Dark days indeed at the famous Bourton-on-the-Water Model Village.

  4. Jaouad Says:

In the future, everyone will be wearing cardboard 3D glasses!

  5. Anti-Sceptic Says:

These look like the children of Mechaneck from the He-Man universe. I wasn’t sure how to make links in here but here it is:

“A ferocious and gruesome impact…” What does that even mean?

Love the collars, they do something, right? Maybe there are superhero capes out the back…

  7. NGpm Says:

What is it time to change? The diapers or the plastic bags on their heads?

  8. THX 1138 Says:

    @Ian: Just ask Bradley Wiggins.

    No tattoos.

  10. Tom Noir Says:

Time for a change… of oxygen! How exactly are they breathing under those bubbles?

  11. Jane Says:

But pray tell what is this “SF” of which they speak?

  12. Tat Wood Says:

It’s what grown-ups read; it’s a bit like what you call ‘sci-fi’ but that’s just dumb special effects movies done in prose form. Some of them land up in this site when the covers are bad enough.
And this book’s so old that The Sun was advertising itself as being an intelligent read ( 4.55 onwards – Shaw Taylor later did ‘Police 5′) so it’s before Gene Roddenberry crapped all over an entire genre.

  13. Tat Wood Says:

Sadly, however, this isn’t actually ‘British SF at its best’, so this blurb is to be treated with the same seriousness as anything else The Sun says.

    “British SF at its best…”

    (SF=Spastic Fiction)

  15. Yoss Says:

It seems like a strange thing to fixate on when there’s so much other weirdness, but those fellas have unnaturally high belly buttons.

  16. DaveM Says:

And this is why it’s vitally important to use a high SPF level sunscreen before wandering around in a diaper.

  17. Jerk of all Trades Says:

I don’t care how famous the designer is, that is not what everyone will be wearing next year.

SURPRISE, USERBOY! That’s a screen cap from Halo 4, and Cortana’s model RENDERS LIKE CRAP!
