  1. Tom Noir Says:

Most people mean something different when they say “I’d tap that”.

  2. rev Says:

    Cheese

  3. Bibliomancer Says:

It says twin sagas but they both look rather uplifted and perky.

  4. Tat Wood Says:

The oddly-familiar red guy is himself apparently sculpted. Is there an infinite regression of increasingly goofy-looking Pygmaliens?

  5. fred Says:

    3rd instead of third?

  6. A.R.Yngve Says:

Q: What is a “fireburst conclusion”?
A: When a detective solves a case inside a burning fireworks factory.

Q: But what are “twin sagas”?
    A: Everyday editorial stupidity.

  7. Tat Wood Says:

‘Twin Saga’ could mean a saga about twins gets a sequel or prequel. Like the Star Wars trilogy, or Wagner’s Ring Cycle. Or, heaven forfend, 80s Australian soap ‘Sons and Daughters’.

  8. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

    Statue: *big blue FAAART*

    Devil: !

  9. THX 1138 Says:

Sculpting your book cover is probably overdoing it, though I admire the effort.

  10. B. Chiclitz Says:

The Juxta-Position—one of the most difficult poses described in the Kosmic Sutra. Adepts have spent their entire lives trying to attain it. Its “fireburst conclusion” is supposedly so intense that one partner turns to stone and the other’s head turns into a beehive.

  11. JaunPaul Says:

“Damn, the butt cheeks are uneven!”

  12. B. Chiclitz Says:

I wonder how difficult it is to actually split an infinity? ;-)

  13. Tat Wood Says:

@B.Chiclitz: it might be very easy to do but impossible to tell if you’ve succeeded.

  14. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

@B. Chiclitz: Well, consider if you will the set of all whole numbers. That’s infinite. Now, consider if you will the set of whole, positive numbers. There you be, an infinity split right down the middle.

    That will be £1.

  15. BMunro Says:

“Damn! This cheap blue marble is just _infested_ with rock-eating sheep!”

  16. B Chiclitz Says:

@DSWBT—well, I only deal in bitcoins, so let me know how to get that to you.

Actually, you give me to much credit, thinking there was a level of depth to my question. Indeed it was completely superficial and dumb. I was trying to play on the term “split infinitive,” and put in a split infinitive as my “joke.” This is why it is dangerous for amateurs to attempt comedy. Your good will, and GSS camaraderie, do not go unappreciated.

The other titles in the series are:
    IM-POSITION
    POLE POSITION
and, this being Piers Anthony, there has to be a title like
    XANTHUM SUPER-POSITION
