Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! Feels so good!Good Show Sir! (Average: 7.27 out of 10)

Obviously the inspiration for Rush 2112.

  2. Tat Wood Says:

    It’s raining meningia – hallelujah

  3. JuanPaul Says:

At first I thought the guy was weilding the ferocious frog as some kind of projectile weapon.

  4. JuanPaul Says:

Doesn’t the tagline answer it’s own question?

  5. THX 1138 Says:

Not just a frog in his throat – a space hopper in his belly too.

  6. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

    Weirdest marionette show ever!

  7. B. Chiclitz Says:

It takes a cover such as this to release one’s inner killer frog.

  8. B. Chiclitz Says:

Desperate for ideas, and under deadline, the recent graduate of the Unknown Artist’s Institute steals into Mark Rothko’s studio late one night and hits the jackpot.

  9. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

@BC: Hitting the jackpot with Mark Rothko is like finding the most pitch-perfect clarinet reed in the landfill. You can use it, but should you? 😉

  10. B. Chiclitz Says:

@DeadSWBT—As you know, such moral niceties are left out of the curriculum at the Unknown Artist’s Institute, where the motto is “Good artists borrow, great artists steal, and we just blunder along looking for any commission we can grub.”😏

  11. Anna T. Says:

So – a disembodied brain leaks blood/cranial fluids onto two people standing outside in the daytime, while the brain is outside at night. Meanwhile, a frog with long, sharp teeth leaps in front.

    Must be a cane toad.

  12. Bibliomancer Says:

The rain from brain falls mainly onto Wayne

  13. GSS ex-noob Says:

This is all WTF, of course, but for me the WTFness is the frog. Which appears to have spiky teeth. It’s WTF all the way down.

@Anna T: apparently there’s a really sharp delineation between day and night wherever they are. In the land of the red sun that makes everything yellow. That would cause different evolution, explaining the toothy toad.

  14. Iluvm Says:

Battle between mind and heart for the frog. Mind won 😥

  15. ThoughtsOnFantasy Says:

Somehow adding an ‘s’ on the end of ‘brain’ always makes it hard to take the word seriously. Sounds like someone should be spluttering it in a zombie movie…

  16. Raoul Says:

@ThoughtsOnFantasy – Yes, you might as well add a zed and go for The Cybernetic Brainz.
It would be fitting to the quality of this cover art.

  17. GSS ex-noob Says:

@TOF: True. Just can’t see it now without thinking “BRAAAIIIINSSSS”, with ugh, grunt and so on. But this cover says “Ribbit!”

  18. Tag Wizard Says:

WTF (for What the Frog?) added.

  19. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

@TW: another candidate for the exposed brain tag?
