This valentines day… why not purchase something from Changeling Press – the best in Erotic Sci-Fi, Futuristic, Paranormal, Dark Fantasy, and Action Adventure love stories. Show your loved one how special they are by buying them a book about a woman being rogered by an angel.

Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! Feels so good!Good Show Sir! (Average: 8.43 out of 10)

This is where too many viewings of Barbarella get you!

  2. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

“As he swept her up in a manly embrace and thundered into the sky on mighty pinions, Rihanna knew that Tom Petty would never, ever hurt her.”

I think one of the tags should be “Poser”, since I’m pretty sure that program was used for this (and other covers on the site).

  3. Dalton H. Says:

Watch out! The water is rising behind you! Yes the water! Hey quit the passionate embrace!

  4. SI Says:

    My my..

Looking at the site. Storm in the City… SOLD!

As a cat shifter and a vampire, Emerald and Armand fit together perfectly; their appetites and needs are well-matched. When they see the lonely looking man watching them from the apartment across the way, they can’t help but show off for him, making love in as many delicious and kinky ways as they can to keep him intrigued.

  5. A.R.Yngve Says:

Well, at least it’s not a “whitewash” fantasy cover…

  6. Tom Noir Says:

The expression on the angel’s face suggests that he’s more interested in eating her then making sweet angel love to her.

  7. David Cowie Says:

a book about a women being rogered by an angel

    A woman, not a women.

Hey, isn’t that THE TWILIGHT OF BRIAREUS in the background?

  8. David Cowie Says:

Oh, and another thing: I recommend not clicking on the Changeling Press link unless you think that your CPU has been slacking off recently, and could do with running at 100% for a bit.

  9. admin Says:

Ok changed now David! Thanks! Hope the spelling mistake didn’t upset you too much!

And yes indeed it was Twilight in the background. Might have found it in the same shop 🙂

  10. Green Says:

I agree, A.R. Perhaps the only way we will get out of the whitewash covers is to buy these fantasy/bodice rippers.

    *can’t*make*myself*do*it*…. system crash…

  11. David Cowie Says:

    Interspecies Romance!

But seriously folks … there has to be a large difference in status and power between a human woman and a male angel. Add in the apparent racial difference, and you get the opportunity for all sorts of excitement that the author may or may not have thought about.

  12. A.R.Yngve Says:

In 20 years, we will all look back at these Photoshopped covers and laugh:

“Remember the time when our computer overlords obeyed us, and we ordered them to make crappy graphics?”

    “SILENCE HUMAN SCUM”

  13. Jami Says:

I don’t know, the black wings scream more fallen angel/demon then regular angel to me.

What I can’t get over though is her flat feet.

  14. Tom Noir Says:

I’m more concerned about his flesh-toned eyeballs.

  15. John Magnum Says:

What I kind of want to know is: Is it REALLY that much cheaper to use Poser than, like, Unreal Engine 3? Because even really rudimentary video games are able to make much better CGI than that and taking only sixteen milliseconds per frame! I mean, okay, maybe Unreal or the high-end stuff Square-Enix uses for their FMVs is out of their price range, but seriously?

  16. A.R.Yngve Says:

Four years after this cover first appeared, CGI has improved a lot… but I still wouldn’t recommend using computer-rendered people on book covers.

  17. Tor Mented Says:

Wait, are we positive that the man is an angel? Maybe they both have one wing each and need to partner up to fly.
Also, is that imitation hand on her right leg some sort of bling I’m unaware of?

  18. GSS ex-noob Says:

@Tor: maybe the fake hand is kind of a brooch/clasp holding the halves of her trouser leg together.

Which next leads us to wonder how he’s holding her up in that position, since he isn’t using his left hand.

Is it me or are her legs unusually long? And Gumby-like, with Barbie feet. Is she actually Barbie(TM)’s Friend Christie?

  19. Ryan Says:

For a dude whose main means of transportation would apparently be his wings, very hungry-looking Tom Petty DOES NOT skip leg day.
