Skipweasel Comments: Pink cats with orange eyes – humans with bubbles – you can almost understand why Norton was happy having her name almost invisible in orange on pink.

Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! I think it’s beautiful. it was one of my favourite books when I was a kid.

  2. Herm Says:

I own this book, with this very cover! Can’t remember if I’ve ever read it. Clearly the contents was not as memorable as the presentation.

  3. THX 1138 Says:

Is Catseye an abbreviation of Mr Cat: Private Eye?

  4. Phil Says:

It’s the Shroud of Turin of the cat world. Or it was, until somebody draw a man and some bubbles and spoiled it.

  5. Tom Noir Says:

No points to the artist for creativity.

A title such as ‘Cat’s Eye’ clearly calls for a naked man descending from a spaceship into a volcano while rodeo clowns ride unicorns through the sky.

    SO disappointing.

  6. jerk of all trades Says:

Giant cat gloats as he stares at the tiny human in his fishbowl. Tiny human had better get more entertaining fast, thinks the giant cat, or I will have to reach in and make him get more interesting.

  7. jerk of all trades Says:

Part of growing up as a giant cat is sending in the “Sea Humans”-ad from the back of the litter box, waiting on pins and needles for them to arrive, then setting everything up and then being terribly disappointed when they are nothing like the Sea Humans in the advertisement.

  8. Pat Says:

I am with Deborah on this one.

  9. Smith Says:

    Brings new meaning to “catman”…

  11. SI Says:

I have to admit I really like this cover.

But I hear ever so often the book-cover wizard likes to put ones up that they like. Supposedly…. according to that legend written on the magical parchment I found in the belly of a dragon.

  12. Dalton H. Says:

DID YOU KNOW that many cats are being lured into drug abuse at a very early age? Cat parents, teach your litter to say no to humans who offer them drugs.

My cat likes to ambush me from behind a curtain. I imagine this is what he sees. Then he gets distracted and misses the ambush.
