Sophaloaf’s Art Direction: Okay, nothing says the future of publishing more than an oversized walkman that runs on floppy disks. Just imagine handsets so big theyll have to hover above a bunch of skyscrapers like a space ship.
Published 1990
Ironically, now sold as an E-book.
Many thanks to Sophaloaf!
John Comments: Sentient killer smog in Los Angeles of course requires occult defense. Only in the 80s.

Radiano Comments: The Lathe of Heaven – the touching story of a man in toga cranially wired with King Kong.

Many thanks to Radiano!
Neil Comments: May Day May Day, we have a situation up here. At least I think Im in an aeroplane, maybe its some tech suit. Either way I think we should concentrate on a wolf coming out of the clouds.

Many thanks to Neil!
Sarah Comments: I love everything about this. The floating COM-PU-TOR in the witness chair. The fact that in the FU-TAR we still have traditional, human-run courts. The mobbed-up, dark-glasses wearing judge. The spider web.
I wish every computer looked like that! Many thanks to Sarah!
Leo Comments: Nothing says “Sci-Fi” like a robed guy reading to some naked ladies infront of a box full of bleeps and bloops. I havent read this book yet but I’m sure I’m in for a wild ride.
The Perms.. the perms! Thanks Leo!

Huge racks and huge packs, if you know what I mean! Guns shaped suggestively like a… you know… *giggles* Whatever you do don’t mess it up with something like giving the women a perm. Are you listening to me?
