Rusty’s Art Direction: Lovecraft, huh? In that case, of course we’ll have to slap a clarinetist on the cover. But that’s not very striking, is it? So give him more fingers…yeah…he’s a hardcore monster clarinetist. Yeah…and knuckles…lots of knuckles. Put in more knuckles, just stuff those hands full of knuckles. Make them have more knuckles than fingers! Yeah, yeah, that’s it. And his body and neck, even his lips! MORE KNUCKLES! MORE KNUCKLES! MORE MORE MORE!!!……oh yeeeaaaaaaah…..that there is beauty!

Wes Comments: I recently went to Hay-on-Wye in Wales for the first time, which is famous for it’s bookshops. There’s something like 28 second-hand bookshops in one tiny town, it’s incredible! So many obscure titles, such a rich vein of stunningly cheesy covers, I honestly felt a bit dizzy.  So anyway, I only bothered snapping a few and this is my favourite.
