Kristen Comments: Sorry about the poor quality of the shot…in any case, it looks like the designer decided to throw something from EVERY short story in this collection onto the cover. At least I hope so, because if there were also armed dinosaurs, fighter jets, and authors working on home computers on board the Titanic, history books have been holding out on us.

Kevin’s Art Direction
Creative Director: Ok, so here’s the deal.
Artist: oh boy…
CD: I want hands coming up from the fires of hell begging for tiny people, a big throne or something and possibly some random Greek god-type things laughing it up.
Artist: oh boy…
CD: The boss just saw Iron Eagle and totally dug the font on that one. OH! And he just bought a new helicopter, so if you could throw that in everything will be great.

Huge naked man flying through a vast landscape while an English businessman on a flying circle points out his mistakes with a cane. Have his manhood really impressive and big, you know like the type that make women faint… oh yeah, guess we can’t. Well, draw it anyway and cover it up with a star about that award he got. They’ll never know…

Art direction: So, I want a couple of flying kids coming at each other with swords. Have them in some sort of orbital dome around an exploding world. Oh, oh, and have the swords electrified!
