Well it’s reached that time again were here in the UK we are blessed with bank holidays! So for those like myself who will be relaxing with an extra long weekend, here are some honourable mentions.
These covers break our explicit and hard kept rules, which are enforced with an iron fist. These are part of a franchise (this time of adventure choice novels), but nonetheless each of them sports an excellent cover so I hope you enjoy them.
Also just to say thanks to everyone who has been sending me in covers! We’ll slowly get through them all so keep an eye out and I promise they will appear at some stage.
Have a great weekend for those benefiting from it!

Happy New Year!
So, just wanted to do a little sum up of a few of the best covers we have posted and some personal favourites of the Good Show Sir staff. Just kidding, we don’t have staff, more like some sort of trained animal that has been taught how to sit correctly and not bite the children.
First, just a couple of thanks. To JustinLeego who faithfully does all the tags for the covers, finds out who the artist is and corrects any spelling/grammer errors I make about six hours after I post it. And to CSA, who endured an entire afternoon with me searching through the shelves of three second hand book shops over Christmas. We have quite the collection of covers to add to the site!
And thanks again to those who visit us here. We love to hear from anyone who comes along, so feel free to comment and you will be welcomed with sarcastic undertones!

Hello all!
It’s getting to that time of year were peace and love fills the hearts of many and an empty hole of pain fills our bank accounts. Also, it is time for us here at Good Show Sir to take a little break over the Christmas period. We will be back, in force, after the new year with a collection of covers that will make you laugh and your eyes bleed.
I do suggest you cast your family and friends to one side both on Christmas day and New Years day to check out the site. We will have a ‘special’ post on both!
Thanks to everyone who visits the site and comments! And if you do have any covers we would love you to send them to us so we can add them to the collection.
We hope you all have a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

I have to admit I really loved this show growing up. Sci-fi mixed with complex morals. Wouldn’t be caught dead reading this in public though!

Thanks to Adam Roberts who comments:
I know nothing about this book. But I do know that’s not the way to ride a spider. In fact, I’d say that’s a Kid’s Spider, when the knight is clearly a Grown-Up. He needs to get to the Raleigh Spider shop and trade up a size.

Thanks to CSA. This breaks every rule in the book! I have no idea why you sent me this, you rebel you. If there is one man who can teach us how to bring up children, it’s the Cosby.

So it’s that time again for some honourable mentions. This time it’s my brother’s birthday so, in a strange sort of way, this is a little present to him. Don’t worry, I also have a proper present for him!
I used to love these role-play books when I was a teenager. Although I am pretty sure I always kept a finger at the previous page so if my choice lead to death, I would never actually have to start over again. They kinda break our rules as they are part of a franchise but again, the covers are just amazing!
Just a big thank you to everyone who visits the site and those who have helped out! We’ve had people from all around the world visit us here. You’ve made sharing this strange hobby all the better! Enjoy!

So, one of my good friends is getting married tomorrow and he has even got me to wear a kilt. As some sort of strange wedding present I decided to include these covers I discovered in the depths of a charity shop. They break our rules due to being a franchise but hey, they are still fantastic.
Graeme, I hope you have a fantastic day, and I hope everyone else enjoys these Doctor Who covers. It’s not my favourite doctor *coughs* John Pertwee *coughs* but they are just brilliant!
