We’ve both been talking this over and really there is one thing we need on our cover. A horrific font!  Have it big, bold, blocky and have the ‘fought’ look like someone has tried to adjust the colour balance in photoshop and then forgot about it.  For the rest, just have some women crawling out of the air vent shooting an android. But seriously, who cares about the artwork these days.

Imagine this, you are a female knight… awww come on, I said imagine… and you have come into the future only to find… wait for it.. space ships! And a futuristic station! This cover will be one of the greatest comparisons of public transport ever!  Oh, don’t forget the transparent eyes in the sky too.

An alien planet, with vegetation and all that, and another huge other planet in the background. And throw in a huge space ship taking off with a person throwing her fist in the air, making the reader ponder, “is she covering her eyes or simply shouting complaints?”

*hick* You’re the best!! Soooo… drunk….Wha’? Oh yeah… This time I’m looking for a different type of glow, if you know what I mean, wink wink nudge nudge. And have a friggin’ space battle going on that they are ignoring with their love-making! Hey… why are you running away?!

Let me paint a picture for YOU my friend. Image the world but not as we know it… where man evolved from… CATS!!! No not the musical! Ah forget it just put a couple of ridiculous cat men with spears on the cover with a huge werewolf thing in the background ready to pounce.

A man with a very angular forehead kinda like that guy from Red Dwarf! Have him looking into space as if he is pondering into the future while some horrible space ships fly around and open fire with their missiles on a planet.

WEELLL!! How about a guy in a space ship pointing at some futuristic map.  Hmmm, yeah, you are right, it’s just not sci-fi enough! How about putting in someone with a straight bowl hair cut, and a huge werewolf creature with botox lips?!

Art direction: Right, so give me a dirty big white werewolf on top of an open space ship with some guy laying dead. Have the werewolf carry a bag of water or something and, you know, just make the whole thing look generally terrible.
