Ryan Comments: I don’t know if they are happy – he looks smug, and the girls look bored.

    Well, if you will use those earphones too much…

  2. fred Says:

    It’s good to be Ronaldo.

  3. Max Bathroom Says:

    Worst R&B video ever.

  4. Francis Boyle Says:

    I have no lower body and I must. . . well, actually, it’s fine I never really was into that sex thing anyway.

  5. JuanPaul Says:

    As we all know here at GSS, there is absolutely no way to make a circuit board look sexy.

  6. griz Says:

    You know how you can easily pick out early green screens by the odd outline? All of the clothes have that same outline and I didn’t think you could do that in a painting. Wanna bet the original had no clothes and some prude said “We can’t sell a book that looks like THAT” and then drew on some lines where he wanted things covered up?

  7. fred Says:

    @griz

    Sorry, no nudity in the original.

  8. Tracy Says:

    The women look like they all have that date-rape drug in them.

  9. Daard23 Says:

    @fred Wait….the original painting didn’t have circuit boards?????? The rest of my day has been ruined!

  10. Tor Mented Says:

    I don’t know how much work that woman in the back has had done, but the nose job was badly thought out.

  11. Tor Mented Says:

    I am also not sure if she is wearing a bathing suit that is black beneath the bosom or whether her right arm is really thin.
    If it’s the former, then her torso is remarkably wide, considering how much of it is also showing to the right of her left arm.

  12. Bruce A Munro Says:

    Is that a death ray in your hand, or are you just happy to see me?

  13. B. Chiclitz Says:

    @Tor M—the best explanation I can come up with for her left arm, the bikini tops and other visual details is . . . Colorforms™️!

    From Wikipedia:
    Colorforms are sheet-thin, die-cut vinyl pieces in colorful geometric “forms” and abstract shapes (figurative or object), often with over-printed images that are to be attached to a smooth plastic-laminated paperboard background

  14. Tat Wood Says:

    At least there’s one reasonably well-drawn foot.

    And some circuit-boards. Which suggests that everyone here is about the size of Barbie and Ken.

    Luckily, nobody needs to read this book (I tried in 1989) because the whole ‘world run by ad-men’ had already been done better by Pohl and Kornbluth.

  15. GSS ex-noob Says:

    So I’m guessing the artist really wanted to show bewbs, but when Ace said no, he painted those tops on using… I dunno, Colorforms? (ETA: @BC beat me to it) If it wasn’t 1970, I’d think it was bad Photoshop.

    Something horrible happened to the nose and arms of the woman in back and the hand of the woman in front.

  16. A. R. Yngve Says:

    Every nerd knows that women flock around a guy whose home is packed with circuit boards stacked on top of each other.

  17. GSS ex-noob Says:

    @ARY: 🎵 Every girl crazy ’bout a circuit man… 🎵 🎸🎸🎸

  18. Bruce A Munro Says:

    @GSS ex-noob: it’s all about the Pentiums, baby.

  19. GSS ex-noob Says:

    @Bruce: GSS!

  20. Kesse Says:

    O would really like to know what they did with the big ball of wax.
