Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! Makes a change from the more traditional sawing a lady in half.

I will leave the double entendre capabilities of the title to others…

(Steps up willingly) The title might explain the expression on his face.

Now who could resist buying a cover like that?

FRIENDS COME IN BOXES… the possibilities are just endless with a title like that.

  9. Frank Says:

I’m just thinking that if you cut them up a bit better you could fit more in each box.

@Smith: Well, thank heavens they were stacked up in that order!

  16. Anti-Sceptic Says:

The whole title reads as : One Deathless Day in 2256 A.D. Friends Come in Boxes

This makes me question, what happens on other “Deathless” days? Do friends come in pinatas? Do they come in milk cartons (I suppose, technically, that is a box)? Do they come on wheels? The possibilities are endless!

I’m relatively certain this was an Anacin ad of the same period, repurposed as a cover.
