For young adults… so we can forgive it. Slightly!

  2. Book Wench Says:

Fonz the Shark does realise he’s in a desert, doesn’t he?

  3. Rachel J Says:

@Book Wench. Well, Fonz was the very first to jump the shark, I believe. Becoming one is just the next step, isn’t it?

  4. Phil Says:

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.

  5. THX 1138 Says:

    All hail King Jabberjaw!

  6. Peper Says:

“Who’s got two thumbs and a kickas robe? This guy! Eeeeey!”

  7. L.B. Says:

I have the Amos Daragon series at work. I wonder if I have that one? Honestly, precious few of the kids at work read the series – would they read it more if all the books had covers like this one?

  8. Tat Wood Says:

Fonzie Shark isn’t camera-shy but his mate in the background is clearly embarrassed at being a lion-crab biped

  9. Yoss Says:

So this is the result of the Fonz’s unholy union from the time he “jumped” that shark?

  10. Jaouad Says:

    “Hello… Name’s Bruce…!”

  11. Bob Says:

    Two thumbs up!

  12. fred Says:

I’m pleased and happy to repeat the news that we have, in fact, caught and killed a large predator that supposedly injured some bathers. But, as you see, it’s a beautiful day, the beaches are open and people are having a wonderful time. Amity, as you know, means “friendship”.

  13. Jerk of all Trades Says:

Is that some kind of shark-buccaneer giving the reader a thumbs-up?

…Because my brain just sort of shuts down and reboots itself whenever I look at it.

  14. Phil Says:

Look closely at sharkey. Do you not see some lady curves and some kind of bodice under there? It’s a pantomime principal boy shark.

  15. Jerk of all Trades Says:

THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANT MY LANDSHARKS TO LOOK LIKE!

  16. A.R.Yngve Says:

Can you say that the shark “jumped the Fonz” when he made that thumbs-up gesture? ;-P

  17. Anti-Sceptic Says:

@A.R.Yngve yes, I believe you can say that.

Also, the shark looks to be a bit of a tough-guy, judging by all those scars…I don’t recall the Fonz having any though.

  18. "Toy" Davis Says:

Love it! There’s definitely something genius about it. I hope this book is a comedy. P.s. This is the universe’s first nattily dressed shark with prehensile anything.

  19. Stevie T Says:

“Try Super Sugar Shark Flakes! They’re Grrrrrrr-eat!”

  20. Stephen Daugherty Says:

Now, let me introduce my lawyer.

  21. Rags Says:

ROFL to everyone with Fonzie shark in their comments!!

  22. Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Says:

Fonzie Shark takes a HUGE bite of a bather, then slaps his victim’s cheeks…wallet and keys drop out of the suit’s pocket.

  23. anon Says:

There is a shark-eel dressed as Sergeant Pepper on the cover. Wouldn’t know about the author, but clearly at least the cover artist no longer gives a shit, if this really is the 11th volume.

  24. A.R.Yngve Says:

THE SANCTUARY OF THE LOAN SHARKS

  25. JJYoyo Says:

    “Candy gram!”
“Candy gram my foot! You’re that clever shark, aren’t you?”
    [Pause]
    “I’m only a dolphin, ma’am….”

  26. GSS ex-noob Says:

    @JJYoyo: good call-back.

Shark may also be a tricky lawyer of the 18th century. “Now, I’m just a simple country shark-eel, but…”
