I have the Amos Daragon series at work. I wonder if I have that one? Honestly, precious few of the kids at work read the series – would they read it more if all the books had covers like this one?

I’m pleased and happy to repeat the news that we have, in fact, caught and killed a large predator that supposedly injured some bathers. But, as you see, it’s a beautiful day, the beaches are open and people are having a wonderful time. Amity, as you know, means “friendship”.

Also, the shark looks to be a bit of a tough-guy, judging by all those scars…I don’t recall the Fonz having any though.

There is a shark-eel dressed as Sergeant Pepper on the cover. Wouldn’t know about the author, but clearly at least the cover artist no longer gives a shit, if this really is the 11th volume.
