“Mr Blessed, do you fancy this cover…?”
“NO!! It is just TOO LOUD!! HA HAAAA!!”

How to look relaxed and furious at the same time.

The cover that answers the question “What if Brian Blessed had headwear that was louder than he is?”

The cover that poses the question “WTF is up with the fingernails of Brian Blessed?”

@fred: You should see his toenails.

@ THX: So that’s what he’s shooting at.

It looks to me like the hat, the king, and the skull are all singing an operatic trio together.
October 29th, 2020 at 2:47 pm
@Ryan.
Or maybe an operetta:? something from the Mikado might fit quite well with that image.

“Blimey, this Stilton is a bit too runny, even for me!”

“Sir, I know it’s traditional to drink from the skulls of your enemies, but shouldn’t you have the gooey bits cleaned off first?”
ZAP!!
Even worse than the Ice King’s hat.
If it’s a _demon_ crown, why does it have a halo? Irony?

Is the hat a self-portrait, or maybe an ancestor? Or does it wield its demonic power to shape the wearer into its likeness? looks at guy in background Or does the artist only know how to draw one face and one kind of hair?
And why so many eyeballs?
Even BRIAN BLESSED draws the line somewhere, and I hope this might be it. Possibly this is some cheap impersonator.

@GSS xn: I might have known – John Rhys Davies!

Brian Blessed does tolerate people mistreating his paperbacks.

Can’t say I’m loving this ‘dark’ reboot of Trumpton.

@THX 1139, 5) As most artists here avoid doing feet, mercifully seeing his toenails is very unlikely.
@Bruce: Given the selection of cleaner ones on the floor he must prefer his skulls gooey.
