Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! Feels so good!Good Show Sir! (Average: 6.06 out of 10)

  1. THX 1139 Says:

Yes, we remember what happened when Sky got the rights to One Man and his Dog.

  2. fred Says:

Few people know that Orson Welles did a blaxploitation version of ‘The Sundowners’.

  3. A. R. Yngve Says:

A young James Cameron saw this cover, and swore a solemn oath that one day, he would make a blockbuster movie with naked blue people in it.

  4. Francis Boyle Says:

Clearly, the Blue Man Group had to lose the afros in order to achieve mainstream success.

  5. Tor Mented Says:

    L’Uomo che afro’ la terra

  6. Tat Wood Says:

Space Sheep is obscuring Sheila Ferguson’s explicit dance-moves to the Three Degrees’ hit “Shear of Decision”.

  7. Bibliomancer Says:

    When Space Sheep dreams.

  8. JuanPaul Says:

Is there a limit to how many ewe jokes we can make in the comments? Ewe know, things like: “how about ewe get all the way off my back”.

  9. Tor Mented Says:

@JuanPaul: I wish it were a duck so I could make that old “you get down off a duck” joke.

  10. Tat Wood Says:

@JuanPaul: I deliberately avoided their biggest hit because I thought ewe-gags were too easy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fe5cP7qWV40

    Less tonsorially-alarming https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syiEwpcIPWI

  11. Tat Wood Says:

Or, in similar vein, a song I honestly thought was about a baa-baa lamb until my mum explained it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tn0-6n_dng4 (and dressed for an episode of ‘Blakes 7’ too).

  12. JuanPaul Says:

    Well, there is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYFVljMsAlE

  13. B. Chiclitz Says:

I think ewe are in error. I’d llama last dollar down that that is not a space sheep at all.

  14. Raoul Says:

Good Show Sir’s mouse rollover says it all.

  15. Bruce A Munro Says:

@A.R. Ygnve: my thought was “Avatar, the New Zealand version.”

  16. GSS ex-noob Says:

Nothing left for me to do here except say GSS! to all.

Did Space Sheep select this one personally?

@Bruce: Directed by Taika Waititi and starring his usual suspects. You know he could at least do a good skit with that premise.

    @Tor: Indeed.

  17. MelMc Says:

That llama is definitely about to spit on the annoying tourists who just had to stop for a selfie. I don’t blame him.

  18. GSS ex-noob Says:

Hey, it took me a few hours, but I finally remembered where I’d seen these women before!

(no sheep or references to them in this one!)

  19. GSS ex-noob Says:

Honestly, guys, the video I linked to has slutty Avatar chicks in a wasteland this color.

    Also a serious beat.

  20. THX 1139 Says:

@GSS xn: I watched it and thought, I don’t remember this tune. Then I realised it was a bunch of old school guys getting together to hang out with dancers half their age. In a spaceship, because of course. Callback to Total Recall, too!

  21. GSS ex-noob Says:

@THX: It is cheerfully retro and knowingly goofy. I liked seeing all the OGs doing a random song. With lyrics like “big subwoofer in the back”, one might expect Sir Mix A Lot would be in it too, but he’s not from Cali.

AfroRetroFuturism. No idea if the rest of their upcoming album will be like this.

Being Of A Certain Age myself, I like it when the older guys can still be popular. I saw this on MTV.

  22. fred Says:

    Haggis, the other lasagna.
