Iggy must be feling smug: looks like that’s a “TV Eye” in both senses…

  2. Tor Mented Says:

    She’s quite an eyeful.

  3. Tat Wood Says:

The real puzzle here is why a 1980 edition isn’t a film tie-in with Tavernier’s adaptation, “Death Watch”. (One of two SF movies that year with Robbie Coltrane and Max Von Sydow in.)

  4. Bibliomancer Says:

    He’s got a helluva forehead

  5. Francis Boyle Says:

I know that the porn industry is all about early tech adoption but I think I’ll wait for the colour HD version.

(Seriously, I know it being over 40 years but I’m feeling some serious fremdschamen for D.G. Compton.)

  6. Ryan Says:

This physical manifestation may be a sign that the patient is watching an excessive amount of bongo.

  7. Dr Bob Says:

The woman on the little screen seems to have had trouble taking her pullover off – she has her knitwear tangled round her head.

  8. Emster Says:

Nekkid chick AND a techie TV. Well, that covers most of the 80’s demographic they were aiming for.

Turns out that space sheep really is in the eye of the beholder…

    The Unsheeping Eye.

So one of this guy’s eyes is a wee tiny black and white TV showing porno (checks date) VHS tapes? He looks creepy enough without that. Particularly the fivehead, as @B’man said.

@Tat: It is puzzling that it wasn’t reissued with a movie-related cover.

@Dr. Bob: That does explain it. In the redacted picture, Space Sheep seems to have a terrible snarl in its back fur.

    @Bruce, @Leak: GSS!

  13. B. Chiclitz Says:

It’s amazing the images a really good Etch-A-Sketch artist can produce.

  14. A. R. Yngve Says:

Still, he doesn’t look as lame as an Apple Vision Pro user.
