The artist seems to have misread the title. He has painted the still voice of SMALL TRUMPETS.

And he hasn’t painted the still! Since the book is (I assume) about distilling illegal hooch, that’s a major omission.

At first I wondered how it could play a trumpet, but I see that it has it well in hand. I bet it just nails the solo, as long as it doesn’t knuckle under.

I’ve installed the extension that replaces photos of D. Trump with photos of kittens.* (Because I can’t stay off the intarwebs for the next 4-8 years.)
It twigged to this one, a false positive.
When I clicked through to the actual cover, I was really glad to have gotten the wee cats instead.
IIRC, this was a pretty good book — I had it in a bland cover which didn’t scare people.
*Make America Kittens again. Also blocks Farage, Le Pen, Wilders.
