I believe that cover pose is in every single Scooby Doo episode.
@Tom Noir – I believe that is the signature image for all things Dangerous Journeys. Poor bastard never gets to move, he’s just stuck in the same position for eternity.
Speaking of anatomy: 1. Somebody in art school must’ve mentioned to this artist that he or she did an ok job with hands, since this cover seems to be all about displaying them as dramatically as possible.
2. Those are some powerful looking thighs, and his aren’t so bad either!
@BC: considering that in the 80s and 90s, TSR stood for ‘They Sue Regularly’, it surely must be all three and then some. In all likelihood, they tried to trademark the idea of a ‘book’.

What I want to know: is that supposed to be E. Gary Gygax up there at the top?

Alan Moore should never have been allowed to re-imagine Basil Brush.

That looks like one of the recent Saber & Shadow ladies. She couldn’t find her pants, but at least managed a robe.

Yul Brynner and Shadow being menaced by a genie in a cheap werewolf mask, with a bearded wizard/puppeteer looming over them all!
Sounds interesting.

What’s trademarked here, Gray Gygax’s name? The title “Dangerous Journeys”? The wizard’s left hand?

@BC, DSWBT: Notice how they guy avoids touching the trademark.

“Guys! Guys! Look what I found! ‘Mwuh-huh-huh-huh! Fight each other to death, puny humans! Two man enter, one man leave.’”
“So, who’s the old guy?“
December 23rd, 2015 at 3:15 pm
Man to woman: Relax, Aleena. If you look up you can see that old wizard is just playing with his giant, alligator man marionette again.

Wow! I guess Not Yul Brynner did a lot of squats to get those bulging quad…
