Alligator boy has taken three incompletes in basic metamorphosing—you’re supposed to transmute into a bird, Roy, a bird! Only iguana girl is taking notes and have you ever tried reading her handwriting? It’s atrocious. If you don’t wise up—wise, wizard, get it?—you’re all losing your funding lines, taking the terminal master’s degree and teaching high school alchemy for the rest of your careers.”

Of course it’s the cat that is breaking the fourth wall. Such attitude.
Also, it’s rare to see a Rowena cover that doesn’t feature a woman that is 90% naked. I can only guess that, under those robes, they are totally nude and Sir Mixalot-worthy.

What does Crocodile Man think about iguana familiar, I wonder? Any family feeling?
Is the cat the familiar or the apprentice wizard?
Is the woman in the background the lowest-ranking one, neither having nor being an animal?
@JuanPaul: they’re definitely all starkers beneath their robes. We can only see the head of woman-behind-cauldron; she might be showing it all.
Cat may be thinking of getting a new agent after this cover.
