  1. THX 1139 Says:

This is why Ron Perlman refused to be in the new Hellboy movie.

  2. B. Chiclitz Says:

Another entry in the “Hands and feet (but not boobs or horns) are hard to draw” pantheon.

  3. Tor Mented Says:

This book was followed by “The Wrath of Curselaw” and “The Law of Curserath.”

  4. fred Says:

Hammer Films, Christopher Lee as The King of the Satyrs?

  5. THX 1139 Says:

Satyr is what closes on Saturday night.

  6. B. Chiclitz Says:

@Tor M—The series concluded with “The Bath of Coleslaw.”

  7. MakkaPakka Says:

Not having any fingers she dropped her bath bomb.

  8. Anna T. Says:

It looks like she’s about to sacrifice somebody, maybe so she can get actual fingers.

  9. fred Says:

I think she is wielding a strigil, not a knife.

  10. THX 1139 Says:

Satan looks as if he’s about to go full Cissie and Ada impression, there.

  11. Raoul Says:

“Look out! She’s got a Bic fireplace lighter!”

  12. GSS ex-noob Says:

I read it as “The Wrath of Ratlaw”, which I think might be more appropriate.

Is Lady Big Hair the Hermit of Black Loch? (And wouldn’t it be Loch Dhubh?) And considering the nipples and a loch, where’s Space Sheep? Or is she Rathlaw?

I would like to give every commenter above a hearty “Good Show Sir or Madam!”

  13. Tat Wood Says:

    Hang on… is he pregnant?

  14. Tor Mented Says:

    @B. Chiclitz in No. 6: Touche 🙂

  15. GSS ex-noob Says:

@Tat: Could be! Part of The Curse, I guess?

  16. Hammy Says:

    @Tat (#13):

It *does* look like he’s experiencing morning sickness, if the expression on his face is any indicator.

  17. GSS ex-noob Says:

@Tat, Hammy: and thus the woman is showing off, saying “I have giant bazooms, but look at my flat, toned, taut tummy! No pregnancy here, unlike old demon there. And check out my long, luxurious hair.”

Meanwhile, the daemon’s got morning sickness, is wearing a shapeless shift, and has sheep horns stuck on. No wonder he looks so sad. Is he the one who’s been cursed by/in Rathlaw?

  18. A.R.Yngve Says:

Move a few words around, and you get pretty much the same pompous candy floss:

A vile loch spews from the Ancient Guardian… and once more the PROPHECY joins evil with black battle…
