    I know that society should encourage teenage boys to read more books, but surely this is pandering.

    The type is a bit messy, but otherwise I like it.
    Is this the best cover on this site?

    So TV tie-ins and novels based on games are allowable now?

    There’s a lot of 90s Doctor Who book-covers to be had if they are.

    (This lady looks like someone put all the female regular cast of ‘FarScape’ into a blender. Which sort of happened occasionally.)

    While forgetting to put your shirt on, and with your potholder on fire. She’s probably on something.

    Is a Hellgate like a Hellmouth, and does that make her Buffy?

    A book based on a video game. That guarantees high quality, right?

    Other than the fire, this is your basic Saturday night at a con (except she’d be indoorsl). Wore that in the masquerade competition and is now wandering the halls of the Hilton/Hyatt/Marriott, popping into the parties to see what kind of booze is available. I personally have worn less than this, but OTOH my eyes never glowed and I wasn’t on fire.

    I suppose since this is Hellgate London, and it appears to be a foggy night, the poor dear needs the flames to keep her warm in that skimpy outfit. Put a jumper on, luv.

    @Tat: good call on the “Farscape” ladies. And good question whether tie-ins are allowed. Considering we had “The Invaders” novelization, I guess so! Open the floodgates!

    Hellgate. Isn’t that one stop beyond Moorgate?

    I hope she’s not wearing the same thing all 3 days of the convention!
    At MiniCon, in Bloomington, Minnesota, in the early 90’s one young woman would attend each year as Captain Hook.
    Nobody cared about a woman appearing as a male character, and nobody got very concerned about huge, overtly phallic codpiece out in front.
    What spurred the sarcasm, to the point where even the daily convention newsletter got in on the snark was her showing up and wearing the same clothes through the whole convention. Hallway, masquerade, parties, Friday through Sunday.

    @Lars: Someone didn’t follow the 5-2-1 rule.

    This cover outfit looks to be against Rotsler’s Rules. Never mind peanut butter, there’s open flames!
