They look remarkably clean despite being in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

  2. Tor Mented Says:

Someone tell these kids that is not how you do the electric slide.

  3. Tat Wood Says:

And then in the sequel they fliip it around so Jerry Garcia teleports into a Whitesnake video.

  4. JuanPaul Says:

This could be an Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 16 poster.

  5. Tor Mented Says:

I’m willing to bet that the turtle-looking character is named something like Rembrandt or Caravaggio.

Back cover. Ennui and despair look remarkably like zombies.

Peak 80’s, in clothes, haircuts, and colors.

That font lets you know who published this.

I *hope* those are rhinestones or sequins.

I’m guessing the lizard person on the right is male, because his chest is exposed. He and high-water jeans boy look the best-armed of the lot, so I bet they’d do better against the zombie hordes.

    @FB: hee!

@Ryan: is this another one of your Arizona finds? Whoever they are, they’ve had this since 1993. Maybe time to mark it down?

Maybe the artist realised that reptilians/amphibians wouldn’t have breasts. Nah, who am I kidding – this is Baen.

    Planet of the Headbands!

  14. Bruce A Munro Says:

Slowly they came to the realization this wasn’t Galacti-con 2188 and they’d beamed down the wrong planet.

“Samurai tactics,” Like dying when confronted by people with guns? And I thought it was Ninjas that had magical powers in the 80s. (Possibly the writer can’t tell the difference.)

  15. GSS ex-noob Says:

@Bruce: Ninja, samurai — of course this publisher doesn’t know the difference. They’re all furriners from the “Mysterious East”.
