Ow ow ow OW!! It's burning my hat!Click for full image

Musketeers are sooo awesome… Could we get one on the cover, drawing his sword, with some huge glowing red energy eminating from the blade which in turn is revealing a guys evil green eye and obvious evil twin goatee?

Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! Feels so good!Good Show Sir! (Average: 6.80 out of 10)

I’m confused as to how exactly the sword is leaving the scabbard. Is it via the Nymph Of Pure Energy hopping about it?

Is the musketeer’s – sorry, paladin’s – left fist actually an extension of your own index finger as you cup the book in your hands?

Is the sword’s hilt by some magick extending out of the front page and into my mind?

And what’s going on with that feather? It teases! It threatens! Part of it’s in the shape of a cowboy hat!

    LMAO, awesome observation.

Is there such a thing as an evil paladin… aparantly there is…

  3. SI Says:

Haha yea that is a good observation 😀

Not evil per say… but possibly suggesting that the character could possible be morally ambiguous?

  4. CSA Says:

…he’s clearly evil… you even pointed out the evil twin goatie, evil eyes and glowing red light from his sword, and gay feathers in his hat too… ergo he’s gay. eh, i mean evil, QED

And they said Cary Elwes would never be able to play sinister. Ha!
Just add creepy goatee and voila! Evil. Oooh.

Originally subtitled, “Paladins II: Electric Boogaloo”.

  7. Dead Stuff With Big Talkshow Says:

This cover is even better if you speak the title in the voice of the French knights from Monty Python & the Holy Grail.

  8. Anna T. Says:

I didn’t know they had lightsabers in pre-revolutionary France!

Joel must have been quite chuffed to have decorative cabinet door hinges either side of his name.

I own a better Musketeer/Cavalier hat than that one, and I’m not even an amateur paladin. I just like fancy hats. (<– pls. pretend last sentence typed in Gothic font, hokay? Fancy hats iz gut.)
