Saxy Stevenson’s Art Direction: It’s the end of the world, everyone is going mental, imagine the worst case scenario… Someone cutting the head off a pigeon with loads floating space eyes looking worried… can you imagine the horror, can you?

Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! To be fair, he really looks like he’s into that sacrifice!

  2. THX 1138 Says:

You can’t beat a good old chicken blood shampoo! Also, Planet Earth doesn’t half look weird there, it even has a chicken for a continent.

  3. Tom Noir Says:

That man is molesting a chicken and he’s just cut a woman’s face in half. He’s clearly gone insane trying to read the yellow blurb text that has leaked down into the picture.

With a screaming Barbara Shelley how is this not a poster for a lost Hammer Films classic.

  5. GDwarf Says:

Don’t you see? This is clearly Black in Time race-lifted to make everyone white! And the sky green! Not sure where the duck comes in, though.

  6. Jaouad Says:

    The eyes have it.

  7. Smith Says:

Alice Cooper Tour ’74 got crazy.

  8. Anti-Sceptic Says:

@THX the continents look more like two fat chickens (or turkeys) fighting over a snake.

@Tag Wizard: I can’t seem to stop! Weird pecs candidate, although this may actually be singular. He almost seems to be missing the musculature on the right side of his chest. The left side is sort of confusing as well, a mishmash of ribs and muscles with odd alignments.

That tagline. Come now. ‘unseen but deadly battle..world of no time and no place..’ So what you are telling me is, let me get this straight, the Earth.is being attacked by nothing from nowhere?

    Spooky.

  10. Tom Noir Says:

I don’t know what planet that is, but I’m pretty sure that it’s NOT Earth. Also, it appears to have a giant snake crawling around on the surface.

For once, the blurb is pretty well written — but no, they had to botch the cover around it.
