    This planet has hermit crab-giant squid mashups that look like the pets of Cthulhu menacing people. Sounds like a prime vacation destination to me.

    Look directly down from the ‘A’ in ‘Planet’ – is that a face in the rock and is it a giant kid in a rock-like sheet holding up the Baen logo in one hand and dandling Our Heroine on its enormous knee?

    Huh, not quite what I’d pictured the Bemmies looking like, but okay. (For reference, the “kid” is her responsibility, a Europan life form who’s part of her children’s social group and got stuck with them when the lifeboats launched.)
