Actually, that cover IS a classical work of art!I would touch it without protective gloves.I've seen worse. Far, far, worse.Interesting, but I would still read it in public.Middlng: Neither awful nor awfully goodWould not like to be seen reading that!Awful... just awful...That belongs in a gold-lame picture frame!Gah... my eyes are burning! Literalism fail.

Note: if a literal interpretation is required real photographers can actually do coloured shadows.

If you Stand on Zanzibar an squint your eyes, this kind of looks a like magical horsie.

Well, she’s definitely glitching all over the place.

This is why 3D book covers never caught on – seen through the specs it’s a Geography Teacher at the school disco.

Talking of bad dancing and Gaudy Shadows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VmC4VowqDM Cliff Richard Junior has to be a clone as the real Sir Cliff is 79 next birthday but still hasn’t found the right girl.

Photographer: “I shot this for the cover of a psychology textbook, but that deal fell through. So I tried to sell it as a cover for a collection of feminist essays on body image. No dice. Then I tried to sell it for someone’s memoir on sex, drugs and rock and roll. But the author relapsed. Then, thanks to the hint of nudity, I finally got a sale. Thank God for sci-fi paperbacks.”

She appears to be making a hand puppet, I mean on top of everything else this cover is doing badly.

  11. GSS ex-noob Says:

It’s gaudy, all right, but I wish it was in shadow so we wouldn’t have to see it.

I think it possibly makes sense in the 4th dimension, but not 3-D world.

For only $341.04, you can own the hardback original, with tasteful cover, from the author’s own collection.
