Marcus’ Art Direction: Fredric Brown mostly wrote short stories with twist endings. So let’s have a twist ending to the cover! But, at the same time, semi-naked women sell books. So we should have one of them. Not too big, though, we want lots of nice black space around.

Hey man! Oh, everyone else is out getting dip, but sit down. Oh … For that cover, I was thinking man-tigers, multiple. Standing beside a glorious master man-tiger encased in some sort of strange uncomfortable looking weapon suit. Thoughts? Yeah, of course we can get the others to pick up some Chinese food.

Frank Comments: This is clearly of the 1970s, a fantasy warrior knife-fighting pose, but in disco dress, with zodiac symbols in the background. And big bugs! Seriously, I looked at it to see if it was an update of “The Radio Man” for the Disco Years. It wasn’t.
