Jaouad’s Art Direction: This author sells multi-millions, so I was thinking huge laserdisc with some vaguely operatic characters on it, flying across a landscape of red crystals with a ridiculously large moon in the background. Also a beach girl.

1st Paradox Comments: When I saw this cover today, I knew that it was the reason Nyarlathotep had put a camera in my pocket. I especially like the starry gulf opening up in the floor of the passageway/gullet/whatever-it-is.

Don Comments: Oi! Peter Pan! When you and your adventuring companion are being attacked by a mutant reptile puma with a bad case of sunburn, and said companion is trying to fight it off with his sword held backwards…probably not the best time to be checking out his butt. Nice though it is.

Mangraa’s Art Direction: What? The cover is due TOMORROW? OK, um.. a planet, but make it space-agey. Like that Epcot ball thing, just don’t get us sued. Something new … vampire bat spaceship! Perfect. Slap some starbursts and a Jupiter on there, and we can get back to drinking.
