A deleted scene deemed too disturbing for the Silent Hill franchise.

Less tumblin’ dice and more bumbling yikes.

Ironically, the Warner Paperback version of this title was painted by Vincent Di Fate.

Skating in an empty swimming pool; the five fates are rad!

Five Feets. Had to do it.

I didn’t know Terry Gilliam did SciFi cover art in addition to Monty Python.

I was going to make a gambling joke about playing Craps, but I think I’ll pass.

Roll 5 and get your leg amputated and your head replaced by dolmades. Roll 1 and get a hot cross bun.
Worst AD&D Dungeon-master EVER.

I thought you had replaced space sheep with space dice, and I was looking forward to clicking on the picture.
I’m disappointed.

Devo’s original look, before they rethought it.

Nice to see actual feet for a change, though, guys? Guys?!
January 8th, 2020 at 2:17 am
@THX 1139—I’d like to agree with you, but must quibble with the word “feet.” It’s really just one foot, repeated five times, and, as GSS notes, probably scissored out of some outdoor living magazine.

This covers sucks because it is really bad.
(Wait, no, don’t post that. How about …)
This cover would be good if it wasn’t so terrible.
(No, that’s not it either. Maybe …)
This cover is so bad that the contents must be just as bad.
(No, delete that. I’m so out of practice because it’s been so long.)

My first thought was, “which one of them is being carried by the rest?”
Five fates, five feet, six torsos, three dice, two eggs = one mess.
@B’mancer: Yet, the Fate of this book is to always have bad art of starkers men. At least that cover boy has all his limbs.
@BC: And it’s a very odd-looking foot, at that.

Dice? I’m up for a modern Zatoichi adaptation in Vegas like Blind Fury w/Rutger Hauer.

@fred: Presumably the new Zatochi/Rutger has lopped off the heads and limbs in this scenario? Is he particularly enraged about cheating at craps?
December 31st, 2023 at 10:01 pm
@GSS – Yup, particularly cranky when it comes to being cheated at dice.
