Hang that clock around his neck and he could be a Flavor Flav tribute act – where else would it go?

So if they’re looking for something with George railroad Martin’s name on to adapt while they wait for the next Game of Thrones book…
(Can’t wait for ‘Thirty Minutes Over Broadway’)

Hey, isn’t that one of those Dr. Who guys in the hat?

@Bibliomancer: that’s like asking, ‘Hey, isn’t that one of those Lord of the Rings guys from New Zealand’?

“Wild Cards”—a game where the roll of dice determines:
1. the outfit you will wear today
2. what you will put on the cover of your next book

@Bibliomancer (4): two years ago and counting. I wonder if anything will ever happen about this.
@Bibliomancer (5): You diss Tom in vain. That’s The Guardian’s epic nuisance Damien G Walter. Dressed as Eddie Shoestring, for some reason.

That crocodile is laughing all the way to the bank.

I never thought I’d see a Wild Cards cover on here. I loved those covers as a kid, and enjoyed picking out the story details on them as I read the books. I suppose to some they can look ridiculous, especially if you don’t know what’s going on.
I actually remember what the flying car was, and the flying figures. As for the alligator and why he’s holding such a big pocket watch? No idea.

@ Jeff Vader – That’s not a bank; it’s a public library. It’s strange minor characters’ day out.

@HappyBookwyrm – the bank is a bit further down the avenue, out of view to the right.
Incidentally, he is the infamous swindler known as “The Croc of Wall Street”. True story.

I remember the alligator. He was a cool character, actually. He was in at least one book after that, too.
And yeah, the flying car.
I sorta loved those books. Are they really doing a movie?
