Verylatetotheparty Comments: More Moorcock. The next book in the series after “The Jewel In The Skull” and a similar GSS suitable standard of cover art. The cover of the third book is disappointingly not nearly as bad. Published in 1975, it might also qualify as an early example of Orange and Teal, (although it’s come out more pinkish in the photo).

Brittney Comments: A kilt and a skin tight pink body suit? On the same cover? Really?

I don’t know about you, but when I think of animal slaves I hate that everyone just thinks of chimps. If I had an animal slave I’d definitely want a Scottish Terrier bringing me my dinner while a seal pleasures me. Mmm, well maybe don’t draw that – but at least put a seal on there!
Brilliant! Thanks to Noah!
Rachel Comments: Sarah Silverman was miffed. Reading the script for their buddy cop comedy, she had been under the impression *he* was supposed to be the straight man.

Jaouad’s Art Direction: This author sells multi-millions, so I was thinking huge laserdisc with some vaguely operatic characters on it, flying across a landscape of red crystals with a ridiculously large moon in the background. Also a beach girl.

Tom Noir Comments: This author has a whole series of covers involving people making out above spaceships. Jokes about her “wormhole” are left as an exercise for the reader.
