Tat Wood Comments: Painted by Emsh during a Cortico-Thalamic Pause and with an introduction by Forrest J. Ackerman, just in case the cover-art didn’t make you run away fast enough.

It’s a Two-fer Tuesday: Müller-What-The-Fokker Goings-on

#1 Tat Wood’s Art Direction: “Look, we’re late to this whole Cyberpunk thing but I’ve got the rights to a book about a guy being stored as data. It was published twenty years ago but we can kid the nerds into thinking it’s hip and fresh. It’s a comedy but for Chrissake don’t let on.”

#2 Good Show Sir Comments: Tat lays down the challenge, but I say you can never beat the first edition. Those hardcover publishers only hire the best artists.

Tat Wood Comments: The Northern Line didn’t look this 1980s even in the 1980s.

Sorry for the delay, Tat. Your submissions got caught in my spam folder. Fancy that.

Our friend Chris Lindsay was prowling the charity shops of Edinburgh and happened upon a horde of Anthonies at the Shelter Bookshop. A little shopwindow of horrors, if you will. It is striking how “popular” Anthony covers are on Good Show Sir. So click on the images below for some hi-def terribleness and give a shout out to any titles that are particularly appalling. Think of this as a showroom for finding these covers in the wild and submit your pix of the ones we don’t already have. Cheers!

Someone get me that top right 'Robot Adept' cover!!ONE

Unicorn! Point!TWO

Who knew Anthony wrote 'Gentle Giants of Africa and Asia'?THREE

Vicinity ClusterfuckFOUR

Thanks again to Chris for sending these in!
I’m sure he bought out the store so don’t go looking for them there.

Wendy Comments: OK, we’ll let you women do the writing, editing, introduction and notes on just this one book. But we’ll only trust a guy to do the cover art.
