Billy Awesome Comments: Pull out all the stops. I want the head of Sturgeon as a devil, floating on an asteroid made partially of humanoid hands and torsos, and partially of a futuristic city that looks like a garbage truck, his hair a naked lady with a peacock feather magic aura, his brow haloed by dollar store xmas tinsel. I want a topless mermaid riding a unicorn over a chain that secures nothing. I want an astronaut trying to take a smoke break through his bubble helmet, and a nude baby on a floating cockle shell awestruck by the majesty of it all. Don’t let me down. Let’s make some magic!

Bibliomancer’s Art Direction: You spilled your whiskey all over the cover art! No time to redo it. Just sponge it off and get it out the door. It has to be at the printer’s today.

Tom Noir’s Art Direction: Alright, with this book we’re targeting that often over-looked pre-teen girl fantasy market. What do pre-teen girls like? Cats and unicorns. Wait! I have it. There’s a girl, but she’s also a unicorn! What do you mean that doesn’t make sense? Make it happen! Oh, and make sure she has a cat.

MisterBOB Comments: I imagine if this art was released as a poster, thousands of ten year girls would buy it, because they know that real magic glows, all the time, day or night.

Good Show Sir’s Art Direction: I don’t know… just draw something… make it odd… actually make it so odd no one will have a clue what’s going on!
