It’s that time of the year again where people might just get a longer weekend! And that usually means an honourable mentions but unfortunately I have been pretty ill this week and have been sitting with some soup while watching TV and reading a few books!

Miggity’s Art Direction: Shirtless black dude in tighty whities with a space helmet and a pneumatic fishing spear gun, flanked by two white Amazonian women in see through tops giving the whole thing a weird sex vibe, with a spacecraft carrier, space figthers, four planets and sweet moon base in the foreground… PERFECT!

Corwin Comments: The first time I saw this cover, I couldn’t take my off off it for at least 5 minutes in macabre fascination. The art work is amazingly detailed, right down to the untied shoe laces. Even so, three car wrecks, a space ship, and an alligator make for quite a combination with Jeff Martini and Katherine “Kitty” Katt.
