We received two different covers of the same book last week. You know what that means:
It’s a Two-Fer Tuesday: Operation Time Search Party!
FluffyGhostKitten Comments: “Rhodes is that way.”
The Bookkeeper Comments: Let me defend myself! Unchain me! Give me a salt shaker!
Published 1977, 1981
Harry Comments: According to the author, this cover was commissioned for another book but somehow ended up on hers. It’s very loosely appropriate: there is a sword, and there is a hero, but he is quite explicitly gay.
Superb! Thanks Harry!
Good Show Sir’s Art Direction: KITTY! KITTY! Get off my keyboard! If you don’t get off this instant you are going on that cover in hell we’re getting done. Cause that’s where you belong… RIGHT! You’re going on… you are going on there… with Genghis Khan… in hell! That will teach you.

Many thanks to A. Waltz for tweeting this in!
Binky Comments: Well, the major theme of this book is of the individual yearning to break free of his faceless, collective society and…oh, okay. You didn’t have to depict it that literally, but okay.
Published 1970
Tom Noir Comments: Balzan, when your B.O. starts knocking out dragons, it’s time to take a bath. And I don’t mean by licking yourself.
Published 1975
Noel Comments: In an ideal world, these would be the UK’s next Eurovision entrants.
