Good Show Sir’s Art Direction: I’m still going through this in my head but surely we can have a man carrying away his damsel on a large fluffy cat beast… beast…bea…breasts! That’s it! Just make sure to have breasts on there too!

So on this cover I want a vision of the future! I ponder what shall humanity meet? Aliens? OR a huge dragon lizard alien!?! And how shall man react? Peacefully? Or will they be blasting away at it with a shoulder mounted laser gun, wearing tight grey jump suits and wielding their horrendous mullets or bowl cuts… God… I can’t wait for the year 2015.
Andy Comments: The art department obviously wanted to cram as much as possible in (even though this is apparently the second novel in a trilogy). I wouldn’t be surprised however if it was an image ripped from the text. I really like the bloke standing on the ear of dragon – it seems to go well with the tag line. The spaceship is supposed to be vivid purple (the first line of the book) but is obviously out-done in the purple stakes by the dragon.

Ah the days of… yellow jeans…
Many thanks to Andy!
Kelly’s Art Direction: Hmmm, a desert nomad with a magic ring and a crazed glare, an aged but fierce warrioress wearing chain-mail long underwear beneath a tunic slit to the waist, and a princely sort who seems to be counting on the other two to protect him since he hasn’t yet drawn his weapons…
