Jami Comments: Actually the best part is inside when I was trying to find dates on this. It’s the dedication Asimov wrote.
“To My Mother
Of Whose Authentic Gray Hairs
Not a Few Were Caused by Myself”
Yes, that’s how it’s capitalized inside.

Marmontoast Comments: Evidently, there really is a bird-like entity in the novel, deciding humanity’s fate. If only it could answer its mobile phone!

Courtney’s Art Direction: Think Conan, but switch the genders. And make the hero basically Farrah Fawcett. And make her leg clinger, I dunno, a Pak Protector maybe? No of course I don’t know anything about the plot.

Andrew’s Art Direction: Okay, so here’s my idea. Fonts. This is a terribly confusing trilogy of books and we want the readers to know it. So I want no less than 2 font types and 4 font sizes. The artwork? Well it technically falls under sci-fi, so make sure there is a star-scape on there. People will like that. Then slap on just enough plot material to make the readers confused about what they are picking up. I smell an epic win with this one!

Tom Noir’s Ari Direction: Right, it’s called, “Chess With A Dragon.” Here’s my cover idea: there’s a bloke playing chess… wait for it… with a dragon. Tell me what I’m paying you people for again?!

Chris D Jr. Comments: If subtle clues such as the title of the book and the gun held by the bubble-helmeted, caped character on the front cover weren’t enough, the designer has managed to sneak in an oh-so-subtle name tag as a hint to the vigilant observer that the character on the front is probably ‘Gunner Cade’. Probably…
