It’s a Two-Fer Tuesday — Psion Pspecial!
Leah Comments: A MALE protagonist, in a skimpy top and skirt, as well as 80s hair that looks like he copied it out of a porno mag. Bonus semi-transparent floating aliens, and trees(?), also semi-transparent, growing out of pipes.
Published 1982, 1985 Thanks to Erika for sending in the other one.
JuanPaul Comments: The secret ingredient to Grandma’s gingerbread cookies will leave you feeling a little scorched.

Klaatu Comments: My candidate for the Louvre of bad cover art.

Tamsym comments: Found in a charity shop on the Isle of Wight, I’ve been looking for a home for this baby for six months. It’s got all the hallmarks of a classic: nipples – check; vacuous expression – check; absolutely no relevance to the title – check.
I’m not saying ghosts can’t be gay, mind. But you have to wonder about the plot arc, eh?
Thanks so much to Tamsyn!
Kristen Comments: Sorry about the poor quality of the shot…in any case, it looks like the designer decided to throw something from EVERY short story in this collection onto the cover. At least I hope so, because if there were also armed dinosaurs, fighter jets, and authors working on home computers on board the Titanic, history books have been holding out on us.

Wow!
Many thanks to Kristen!
Natalie and Steve Comments: Unfortunately, Davy himself is not as vivacious as his cover suggests.

Many thanks to Natalie and Steve!
Gwad Darn it, we know from experience realism sells! If you haven’t got some models to pose for you in costume it’s just not going to sell. We’ll grab their attention with a kid hiding behind a sword fighters cape. Then we can make it shiny…
Good Show Sir Comments: Two-fer Tuesday? Sounds like another great Bibliomancer idea. So here are two covers he sent in years ago that I never got around to posting.

You might remember this from here.
GK Comments: When I saw this at the book store all I could say was, “Good Show, Sir!”
