Frank Comments: It’s a decent painting of a scene in the story, but there’s plenty uncovered boobs involved even if they’re small and not so obviously nipply. Have you got enough Space Sheep for this sort of situation?

Patrick Comments: The progression from slain beast through the submissive man to the woman serves to accentuate to a striking degree her dominance: her beauty, her haughty and self-satisfied expression, her weapon and last but not least her fantastic norks… Stunning!

Jered Comments: It’s seriously like the artist used pictures of existing pop culture icons to model their characters. Matthew Broderick for the hero, Hoggle from Labyrinth for the goblin dude, and possibly Joey Fatone for the dwarf.

Grady Comments: I’m disappointed, to be honest. The back of the book says, “They speak German. They carry whips. And they are connected in some mysterious way with Nazi experiments carried out in the charming old Irish castle during World War II.” Meh, I’ve seen more charming Irish castles.

Jen Comments: A warlock and his robotic horse battle a carnivorous tree who collects stuffed animals and leprechauns, while farting evil smoke into the mouth of a nearby menacing castle. Meanwhile, a knight and his lady ride past, oblivious. Sadly, a surprisingly accurate depiction of the book. And yes, I paid $5 for it.
Insane thanks to Jen!

You know what I love about Ireland? All the dwarfs, the mysterious dark riders on horses, the barmaids that insist on carrying a bow and arrow with them, the extreme landscapes and, of course, the rainbows so I know where to find my pot of gold. We should turn that into a cover someday, my boy.

You know what the 1970’s scream? Car movies and Shaft. Everyone against the MAN! So kinda like those films but with a wind powered car, some small alien dude, an alien sting ray, spears, horrific landscape and some hot alien amazon chick pushing out her chest. Dig it!
Thanks so much to – guess who? – of course, the legend ChrisR!
