Rick Deckard Comments: “If I said I didn’t love you I’d be lion”
You might remember this series from here and here.
Published 1977
Sophaloaf’s Art Direction: Okay, nothing says the future of publishing more than an oversized walkman that runs on floppy disks. Just imagine handsets so big theyll have to hover above a bunch of skyscrapers like a space ship.
Published 1990
Ironically, now sold as an E-book.
Many thanks to Sophaloaf!
And now for the real cover:
You might remember seeing this previously on Good Show Sir: Sunrunner’s Fire
Stutzman comments: So here is the Australia cover for that very same book (found in a used bookstore in the US), which is hideous beyond words. Same general elements: dragon, wizardly dude in robes, rocks. The execution, however… oh, my eyes.
Thanks very much to Stutzman!
Man of the Mountains Comments:Nothing says super powers better than banks of ray guns built into a guy’s skull!
Published 1976
JaunPaul Comments: Summon the keeper, my litter box needs cleaning.

Good Show Sir Comments: Look out Jeff, we’ve got a T-Rex… and he doesn’t look impressed with my one-piece body suit.

Many thanks to Erin for sending this in!
Charles Comments: “I can sell you a Jesus Christ. Cheap. Only 356 credits.”

Alessandra Kelley Comments: I recall Saberhagen’s book, which I read in the 1980s, to be a not-at-all-bad retelling of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” from the pov of Dracula himself. While the book has a certain dry wit and self-aware sense of humor, it is not, as this 1975 first edition cover might suggest, a wacky goofball comedy precursor to “What We Do In The Shadows.”
Special bonus interior cigarette ad because 1975.
