Dead Stuff with Big Teeth Comments: I was visiting my brother in Chicago. I showed him the site. Then we tried to complete the sentence on the cover of this book. Here are our efforts –
THE HERO…has his face stuck in a trash compactor!
…is wearing green gelatin!
…holds snowmen holding rifles in contempt!
…gets to have a double iris!
…has such kissable lips!
…was almost THE HEROT!
…looks like the dude from Aphex Twin!
…knows Christmas colors are the new teal and orange!

Tom Noir Comments: The subset of Sir Walter Scott fans who also like Rollerball is probably about the size of that Roman soldier’s thong.

Good Show Sir Comments: When conducting a space orchestra it’s helpful to have men with laser weaponry for motivation!

Many thanks to Robert Van N for sending this in!
It’s another bank holiday weekend and that can only mean one thing for us here at Good Show Sir! Party time! Or possibly just the cinema and a few beers, which might be a party… to some people.
These covers have been sent in by the very excellent Saxy Stevenson who found them while in Nepal. Hope you enjoy them, as for the published dates… ummm can anyone here read Japanese?
Matthew’s Art Direction: So we’ll be requiring evil insect eyes and a bloomin’ great sword, oh yeah and an absurdly oversized helmet too…

Kelly Comments: Considering that later editions have an absolutely gorgeous cover by Michael Whelan, I’m always a bit horrified to see the travesty on my own copy of the book. It looks like a poster for some kind of low-budget 70s bondage. My poor eyes!
Muttley Comments: Did you see a mouse? I’m sure there’s a mouse in here. Gonna blow that mouse away . . .

Thanks to Kelly and Muttley who both sent this in!

Jon Comments: I know those Moorcock/Mayflower covers are like shooting fish in a barrel, but I needed something to go with my chips. I actually got the man himself to sign my copy recently and I told him I felt the film version was underrated. He agreed with me, with the minor change of “under” to “over”. Seemed a nice bloke, though.
